Fudge Project

Last night, Saturday, when Amber came to visit, we decided to make fudge; however, a rather large disagreement occured about whether we should trust a new thermometer that read 200 degrees when boiling water. In the end it didn't matter because Dillon is a such a chocolate monster that failed fudge tasted every bit as good as successful fudge. After this weekend, the sugar contract is going to have to be in full force again; fudge is devastating to the diet.

Kody, Dillon, and I are sitting here fully enjoying last night's fudge results. And yes, it is definitely devastating to any dieting attempts. But it is SO GOOD!! Later tonight I'm going to try to make it myself. Do you think it will work?

Isn't that what the thermometer should read when boiling water at 4500 ft above sea level? At least something less that the 212 we teach.....Besides, unless you burn it, I think it's impossible to make fudge that isn't yummy!
